Prince is set to undergo hip-replacement surgery, according to British tabloids. 49-year-old singer apparently suffers from near constant pain, the result of decades of touring and performing . He has reportedly booked himself into private hospital and cleared two months and a half recovery time on his calendar.
During hip-replacement procedures, doctors remove the ball and socket of the damaged hip and install a titanium joint. We will soon see prince perform again and I hope he will be able to do his fabulous stage dances with no problem.

David McKenzie 11 Tips For Joining Affiliate Programs
Here are some things that I look for before joining an affiliate
program. They are items I feel are imperative to being in a
successful affiliate program.
1. The affiliate program has a great payment structure. For me, a
high commission that is also a high percentage of the purchase price
is essential. Nothing under 25% commission.
2. Make sure the affiliate program you are joining has a good looking
site. You do not want to be sending visitors to a site that you do
not like yourself.
3. Make sure they offer a comprehensive affiliate statistics page
that lists the number of click throughs, number of sales and amount
earned. This should be broken down per month.
4. Also make sure that the affiliate statistics are updated
automatically and immediately. You do not want to find out today
about a sale you made a week ago.
5. Ensure they give a wide variety of text links, banners and
graphics to put on your web page. Although I prefer text links,
certain types of banners and graphics still work well.
6. Know how often you are going to be paid. If you are tossing up
between 2 programs and one pays monthly and the other pays quarterly,
the one that pays monthly is better. You do not want to wait months
before getting paid for your hard work!
7. See if the affiliate program gives examples of how the top
affiliates are doing. This can be a great pointer to whether it is
good or not. If some affiliates are earning many thousands per month,
it is a good affiliate program.
8. Along these lines, also see if they give examples of what
marketing methods these successful affiliates are using to get the
best results.
9. An affiliate program that offers a special monthly newsletter just
for the affiliates is great. Here you can get extra tips and
techniques that are working well.
10. See if they offer email notification when you make a sale or get
an affiliate signed up under you (if it is a 2-tier program). It is
good to see `You have made another sale' in your inbox.
11. Ensure top level support is given. If they cannot answer your
query straight away make sure they can respond within 48 hours.
There is tremendous demand for affiliate programs and choosing the
right one is no easy task. Make sure you do plenty of research before
joining one.

EA Inc. Lover Bids To Rattle Take Two Company
Electronics Arts Inc. extended its tender offer for rival Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. by four weeks but lowered its offer price to $25.74 a share, drawing out a standoff between the two videogame publishers.
Electronics Art said it lowered its $26-a-share offer in order to reflect dilution from additional shares to be issued to Take-Two's management following a shareholder vote Thursday. EA's previous offer was set to expire at midnight Friday. Read more on this story....

A Perfect Getaway Movie
Actor, Steve Zahn of (Sahara as Al Giordino) and Actress, Milla Jovovich of (Resident Evil as Alice) will star in the movie "A Perfect Getaway" along with Actor, Timothy Olyphant of (Hit Man). Zahn and Jovovich will play a married couple taking a Hawaiian honeymoon, until two demented killers stalk and put them into a hostile environment. David Twohy (The Chronicles of Riddick) will write and direct the MGM release. Tucker Tooley, Robbie Brener and Relativity Media’s Ryan Kavanaugh are producing the project.

American Airlines Cancel 850 Flights for Analysis
On Wednesday April 9, 2008, American Airlines told the press that they canceled about 850 flights for inspections to structure more appropriate safety measures. The inspections started on tuesday where about 460 MD-80's was being properly checked and maintances on for safety issues. Now about 45 MD-80's is said by airline professionals to be in the air later on today.
American, the largest U.S. airline, said in a statement on Tuesday that the Federal Aviation Administration raised new concerns about the latest wiring inspections of the narrowbody MD-80 aircraft's wheel wells and the direction in which the retention clips and lacing cords were facing that resulted in canceled flights about two weeks ago. About nearly half of AMR's fleet are MD-80s aircrafts.

Island Blues Cocktail
A enjoyment for the summer, but this tasteful creation of the deep blue Ocean comes from those romantic Rum producing Islands. This Drink can be most enjoyable during late spring, during the summer or on a cruise ship to Paradise.
1. Frost the rim of the glass using the lemon juice and sugar. Set glass (try using a highball glass) aside to dry.
2. Place the first four ingredients into a cocktail shaker half full of ice.
3. Shake well and strain into the glass.
4. Last top up with lemonade. (You can also dress the glass with a small watermelon slice).
