"Redacted" directed by veteran super film artist Brian de Palma (Scarface, The Untouchables, The Black Dahlia) bring the real life structure of Young, restless, US soldiers stationed at a checkpoint in Samarra waiting to return home, become destroyed by morals and Sin entering havoc in search for insurgents.
The rape and subsequent murders in "Redacted" actually happened, and we are told that director Brian De Palma found out about them on the Internet, in blogs and YouTube postings and on American and Arab sites. Really this is all said to be true !
