The Walgreen Inc. drugstore told the press this morning that it has arranged to provide shipping services using flexible package-delivery contributor DHL at selected Walgreen stores around the USA. The new partnership accord calls for the Deerfield pharmacy chain to embark on maneuvering the DHL shipping kiosk at Walgreen photo counters located in Illinois and Florida State hopefully this April.
Walgreens applied the agreement will expand to more than 6,500 company stores across the U.S by the end of 2008. In addition to the agreement, Walgreen distinguished, almost tripled the number of retail outlets that offer DHL shipping services in the U.S. Employees working at the kiosk will weigh, label and ship out customer packages, and will be open during store hours, including the Walgreen stores that are open 24 hours a day.
