Clarendon Hills Astralis Syrah

A Wine with a punch like a championship boxer is hard to come by. Roman Bratasiuk is known for making wines of that nature. Lately Bratasiuk been toning down on his exquisite style just a notch making the best red wines in Australia. Although Bratasiuk has a couple of vineyards of his own, he purchase his grapes from growers in McLaren Vale.

Clarendon Hills has received amazing reviews from both critics and publications alike. When you pour a glass of this Clarendon Hills 1999 Astralis Syrah, you will see the color is of a dark red, with a blemish of plum. The aromas smells like dry oak, black cherries, vanilla and coffee. By the grapes being hand picked from 70 year old vines, you can taste lovely dry oak notes and concentated berry flavors with lots of finese and well crafted luxury.
