Soave wine

Soave is Italy’s most ordinary dry white wine and is produced around the town of the same name, which lies northeastern of Verona. Soave is also one of the top selling wines in Italy among others. Pronounced “swah-vey” the name Soave may obtain from words Svevi or Suavi after the Swabians who invaded Italy in the 6th century. The name has nothing to do with “suave”--the wine is too light and fresh for that assumption! The classico (A term that denotes a wine from the innovative winemaking region, and usually of the best quality) comes from a small area around the hills to the north and east of suave town. Try The Pieropan Soave Wine

Most soave is made from a blend of Garganega and Trebbiano grapes and has a refined nature of earthly elements. When Chardonnay grapes are added into the mix, the wine is softer. Look for “superiore” on the label---this indicates a stronger, must more matured in aged wine.

Soave is great with soups, stir-fry vegetables, or simple pasta dishes. For an Italian theme, serve it with seafood linguine. This wine is a delicate and light in its design with a slightly bitter finishing taste. With a citrus fruit aroma, a touchy light honey and almond feel in scent. In addition, beware --this wine is so light that you can easily drink too much without noticing!

The color of this wine has an light greenish straw yellow look to it.

SOAVE WINE YOU GOT TO DIGG THIS!
