Thousands of fans filled the International University of Florida , monday Dec. 3, 2007 , for the Funeral of the great football redskins Athlete Star "Sean Taylor", who died after being shot in a home invasion. Days after the murder, four suspects( Jason Mitchell, 19; Eric Rivera, 17; Charles Wardlow, 18; and Venjah Hunte, 20), was all charged with unpremeditated murder, home invasion with a firearm and asault charges pending. The Washington Redskins organization filled one section of the building while Miami Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon and former coaches Larry Coker and Butch Davis were seated in the front row.
Other luminaries at the ceremony included the Rev. Jesse Jackson, former football star O.J. Simpson and actor Andy Garcia. Garcia's niece, Jackie, was Taylor's girlfriend and was in the home when Taylor was shot.
